My name is Lynn. Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent 25+ years in the high-pressure, ego-driven world of media. I learned firsthand how easy it is to keep performing while quietly burning out. Eventually, I knew something had to shift—and I began retraining as a therapist.
This is therapy with accountability. You’ll learn to:
It’s not about being difficult. It’s about being authentic—and not shrinking to make others comfortable.
My style is direct, warm, and always honest. I’ll meet you where you are, but I won’t let you stay stuck if you’re ready for change.
Comprehensive clinical training including intensive specialist focus on addiction and recovery, anxiety and depression, trauma, and trauma-related triggers.
Integrating evidence-informed hypnotic techniques into relational therapeutic practice where clinically appropriate.

I practise under full, ongoing clinical supervision and in accordance with national professional and ethical standards.
Registered with the UKCP and currently completing the final stage of full accreditation.

Relational & Emotional Awareness

Explore and work with the different “parts” of yourself—like the inner critic or wounded child—to create more internal harmony, self-leadership, and emotional balance.

Work from a foundation of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard—so you can explore your experience safely and at your own pace.

Recognise and shift the roles and communication patterns you fall into with others—helping you build healthier, more conscious relationships.

Focus on present-moment experience and emotional awareness to better understand what you're feeling, needing, or avoiding—right now.

Identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours—useful for anxiety, low mood, and developing practical coping tools.

Shift internal language and behavioural patterns to develop more effective, flexible ways of responding to challenges.

Understand how early relationships and unconscious patterns shape how you think, feel, and relate—so you can respond with more freedom and awareness.

Explore the big questions—meaning, choice, mortality, and freedom—and learn how to take ownership of your life with clarity and intention.

Tune into the body’s signals—like tension, tightness, or restlessness—to help regulate your nervous system and process what words often miss.

Access deeper emotional insight and stored experience through guided, focused states of awareness. Especially useful for anxiety, trauma, and shifting stuck patterns.
It’s especially effective for:
Understanding your nervous system, emotional wiring, and coping mechanisms helps you respond with insight instead of autopilot. I offer accessible, practical education throughout therapy, so you can integrate what you learn and keep using it long after sessions end.
